A little more detail would be nice...model number, viewing habits, price?

Got one and love it.  This is my first HDTV so anything would be better than the 27"ers we've been using.
I have the HLT6187S.  I chose this because I have a bright room, biggest screen for the buck and no bulbs.
Huge thread at avscience.

Anything in particular you want to know?

Welcome to AC, monte.

I quit following the discussions after I bought a JVC D-ILA 1080i set a whlie back.  The only thing I don't really like in mine is the racket from the cooling fan for the bulb.  Maybe a dumb question, but do these LED sets still have fans?  Tom

I think it may because when I plugged mine back in after a thunder storm I could sense the TV come alive  :o
It was barely noticable.  I walked away thinking I'm never gonna notice the presence of power form the TV.
I could very well be wrong, but AFAIC it is a not issue.

Other TV's I considered were Sony but the green blob scared me and the JVC but the TV's bulb at BB must have been old because it didn't even look as good as the 56" next to it.
