I am purchasing a 3B SST made in 2003.  Would anyone know if that is a C series amp?  When did the C series come out for the 3B?

I don't think the "C" series was avaiable in 2003 (unless later in 2003) as thats when I got my 14B-SST amp (summer time) and it is the old style faceplate, not the "C" series. By the way is the only difference is the faceplate - its purely cosmetic although it is a nicer faceplate. Can you get the seller to provide a picture - that will tell the tale...

I don't have a picture of it, but it came up for sale on audiogon today.  it is under newly listed.  It is black in color.   I believe it is the old style.

Looks like the older (non-C) faceplate to me. A great amp none-the-less...

I believe the date should be on the back of the unit.
