"HOLIDAY SPECIAL" RM40jr

Hi All,

Ever since Brian offered the 626jr last year as a 30th Anniversary Special and Christmas Present, I have encouraged him to "do the same" with a couple other models.

So now we have a LRCjr, and even an RM2jr.

Well B has outdone himself here.

 This is possibly the BEST priced offer I have ever seen on a VMPS product.

As of right now we have a "limited number" of RM40jr's

There are only TWO Finish options:

1) Bud Bailey CHERRY
2) Dorne Dibble Gloss Black

Here is what you get:

*RM40 pair
* Single FST tweeter
* Four Neopanel MidRange Drivers
* 10" Low Bass Driver
* 10" Midbass Drive
* Vitrified 10" Passive Radiator
* Stock X-overs

There are only a LIMITED NUMBER of these, and they are on a "first come, first served basis".

Now here is the kicker;  There are a few of the Dibble cabinets with 1 1/4" HDF walls and big window braces.  This is the domestic version of the MLS cabinets.  And these are the Piano Finish.  Dorne is the fellow who made the RM/x cabinets and these are his version of the RM40.

The CHERRY are the Bud Baily offerings and LOOK beautiful.

The RM40 ordered as a stock pair, adding the FST ($400 option) and a upgraded cabinet (in the Black) add another $400 option, would have a retail list price of $5400.  The Cherry Finish option would have been $200 less or $5200.

Brian Claus is offering these, not at $4999, not at $4499, and not even at $3999. . . . . . .

How about $2999 plus shipping!!!

These can also be loaded up with "options and upgrades" at the regular upgrade prices.

I don't know if you can find a "used" pair for much better than this. :o

Order ASAP for pre-Christmas Delivery.

Two Additional points:

1) This does not include CDWG, so is of particular interest to 2 channel, sweet seated, AUDIOPHILES aa

2) Unlike other jr models, this one DOES have the WCF MegaWoofers :thumb:

Just had a client jump on one of these as a Direct Drive speaker, with OXO ($3459) which also includes a third pair of binding posts, and the "outboard" X-over, which allows going to the more expensive "caps" when the market goes back up.

But further it also "future proofs" his RM40s for the coming D-OXO or Digital Outboard X-Over.  I have been working on getting this available for some time, and we are getting close.

In this "configuration" we now have "plug and play" A-OXO (analog) and D-OXO (digital)

I will be making some announcements on this soon, but it would require a modded and pre-programed XO, and a 6 channel amp (tri-amping) or three stereo amps of your selection.

I can see some tubes on top, and SS on the WCF MegaCojones :green:

OK -  What's the deal on D-OXO?

I know I have to wait

We are almost ready.

And I think we can make the D-OXO a pretty easy upgrade in the feild.

All it should take is:

1) adding a third pair of binding posts

2) Running the wiring of the tweeter and MR panels though the bottom of the "tweeter/MR box" and sealing the hole

3) Soldering tweet/MR/woofers to appropriate binding posts

Then "plug and play".

The above is only nessessary for stock speakers "without" the A-OXO.

If you already have the OXO, it is just a plug and play. since it already is a Direct Drive with 3 sets of binding posts.

So with the D-OXO and an additional sub one would have a quad-amped system, correct?  aa

Affirmative.

And with your RMv60, it is a "plug and play".

All that is needed is to dial in the various amp differences (impedances. sensitivities, etc)

IMPORTANT!

Brian has just informed me that the response to this has been very good, and he realized that he has a few more of the DORNE DIBBLE cabinets that are "unfinished".

He has an automotive paint shop next door and will offer these painted to the color of your choosing for an Additional $249 (Must be an automotive paint color)

So if you want a Red pair of RM40s, or British Racing Green, or Yellow, Blue, White, or Silver, now is the time to get them.

I suggest also going with the new D-OXO for a great Audio Bargain of the YEAR!!!!
