will we see the decompressor  a dbx like compander for restoring dynamics from CDs.  this is for sure an
innovative and unique product. estimated price and tell us more?

I dunno.  Depends on interest.  So far your the only one.  If you read my blog, it is filled with random thoughts and ideas, many of which never get realized.

How much compression does a standard cd have? There is little reason for it to have any, is there?

I assume this is a reference to the compression of the dynamic audio range.  It's
done in CDs to reduce the number of bits needed for the digital representation of
the audio signal.
