I remember reading about Odyssey amps here before so I was hoping someone could tell me what the story is with Odyssey speakers?
I auditioned a pair of Revelation speakers the other day. I was under the impression these were designed and built here in Canada. When I did a search on the designer, Alain Courteau, I ended up on the Odyssey India web site. I noticed that their Nightingale and Circe models appear to be the same as Revelation's Lyra lineup and their Epiphony is the same as the Revelaltion Vega. On both websites Alain Courteau gets credit for the design. Then I landed on the Odyssey US site - here design credit for the Epiphony(Vega) goes to a certain Alex Gonzalez. The info(products, prices,ordering) on the US site is rather sketchy. The Canadian site also has a model(The Antares) which I can't find on the US or Indian sites.
I though these speakers sounded pretty good when I auditioned them the other day except now I'm getting a strange(white van) feeling about the whole thing. I somehow doubt the resale value would be very good on a product with such dubious origins.

Very simple:

Alain Corteau and I ended our business relationship.
When we ended it,  I gave up on all of his designs,  and instead of the Epiphanies and Nightingales,  we now have the Epis II's and the Syren in the program next to the Loreleis.

So,  if you heard a Revelation Audio speaker,  then that is made,  warrented, and serviced by Revelation Audio / Alain  in Montreal.
We don't have anything to do with them anymore,  and yes,  the speakers of his are very,  very good,  and they are legit.
