And somebody on audiogon (no connection here) is selling a used DIY hifi transport: http://cls.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?dgtltran&1200292594 , so I guess they are available now.

DIY Hifi has had DACs available for ages (Monica, Monica II, Monica USB)

Gentlemen,

Since I've been hanging on the H2O Grapevine, I can shed a bit of insight into the status of the H2O "Fire" pre amplifier. In short; the Fire is only one step away from production. There are only two more minor hurdles to leap over until she is completely ready for prime-time. Those hurdles are waiting for the company contracted to build the remote control, and for Henry to decide on a final price (ball park figure is between $5000-6000). This units been a long time coming, but good things (really really good in this case) will reward the patient.

For giggles, you can check my gallery *under the Listening Pad* for pictures of the prototype (which doesn't look much like the real deal). Still, its fun to waste time.

The Galibier Serac debuted at RMAF '07. He had two in fact. One playing, and one on static display.

Not anytime soon. The universities are makin to much money on the bowl system, and do not want to give it up. Greedy bastages.

The Decware modded Tascam looks very interesting, but:

1. I've had nothing but bad experiences with tubes, don't know why;

2. Previous Decware modded CDPs sounded good, but this one is so far is "untested";

3. I want digital output/input to insert DEQ.
