This is a great hybrid amp (killer for its price range). A degree of tube warmth and body without all the heat, power limits, and bass issues. This drove my Magnepan 3.6s easily.
It has more warmth and body than most SS amps. I upgraded to this from a Hypex UCD400 and there was no comparison in terms of body. I'd still be using this and be totally happy, but I got a deal on a pair of full tube monoblocks (Dodd 120s). Come summer time I may regret selling this amp, but their heat isn't a big deal now with colder temps.
My wife wants new countertops so she asked me to sell some of my "extra" gear. I was saving this for a different system, but I've got another amp on the bench (gotten put on hold, but I've got all the parts so that makes this "extra" to her).
For audiocircle members I'll sell it for $1600 shipped in the continental US. Either PayPal or USPS money order (NO paypal fees). I've got the original packing material and box. Please note this will not necessarily come with the stock power cord, but rather one out of my OEM PC box (which might be this amps or may be some other piece of gears). I'll make sure to grab a higher gauge PC, but you'll want to replace it with something "better" anyway.
