what's have you DIY'ers found to be the best "affordable" cable and gauge used for interconnects???
Thanks
Sonny,
In my experience you need to have good quality high grade (pure copper silver plated or pure silver) wires to start with and also high quality of connectors. DIY is helping to save high price labor and dealer charges, don't you agree? For digital needs to have 30-35ga and 4-6 braided for each channel. ICs should have 25-30ga and braided the same as digital or maybe more. It is up to your taste.

Tan, that's right...DIY is for saving money $$$ as well as being more involved in the hobby and well, it's fun, except for the lead fumes...
I currently use Magnet wires, 20awg for interconnects and 11 and 14 gauge for speakers...I love it...I think they are great for the costs and well, I use either bullet copper plugs or neutrik professionals connectors. I was thinking about doing a pair of i/cin either 24 or 30awg....to see how it sounds...and was wondering if anyone has done so and what their results were.
