SOLD!

Pair of CSS/GR Research Diluceo's (RAW built) for sale. These are outstanding speakers - oodles of fine detail, yet not at all harsh or lean. The Mappa Burl finish is exquisite, and was an extra cost finish. The cabinets are solid and hefty at close to 35 lbs each.  There is a small nick at the top rear that has been circled in the second picture - it can't be seen from the front in any event.  Would be willing to consider trades for a good (preferably remote-controlled) tube integrated with at least 15 -20 wpc.  Also, I have yet to try an Odyssey Stratos....that might work too!

Selling as I have too much gear/speakers in general - as my wife can readily attest!    Specs can be found on the GR Research website link below.

$850 + shipping.  Have original double boxes.

Thanks!

Great value as I built them I know how they are.

All of these cabinets were built by Aurum Cantus and shipped here with ribbons in them.
We built the crossovers, along with assembly.

Sweet deal for sure.

Wow!! Very nice. :thumb:

Yes, I have nothing but praise for Al as he did an amazing job on these and the HT-6's I bought from him - the care and attention to detail is evident.

Thought long and hard before listing these...these cabinets are furniture grade (well above any of our furniture actually ), and they have the sound to match!  Always been a huge fan of Danny Richie's designs....used to have the Paradox-1's, and still regret selling those.

Wow, beautiful finish.  Always had a warm spot for burl.

I listened a Diluceo 4or 5 years ago.  It was driven by a highly modified Dynaco SCA-35.  That was the first time I experienced what some call blackness or space between the notes.  I don't remember much about the imaging since I wasn't sitting in the sweet spot, but the output was very precise, clean and dynamic.

At that price, I would consider it a good buy, especially considering the finish.  Besides the speaker itself, a 4x8 sheet of Mappa Burl is in the $400 plus range from I've seen.

Holy cow!  My hands would be shaking too hard to be able to cut it.

Those are beautiful speakers.

Then with the Diluceos you add these for rears.

Yes Mapa Burl is expensive to say the least

Mapa is costly to use and when you find speakers like these they are rare for sure. Not very many companys offer the Mapa as a finish option.

Someone will get an extraordinary deal.  The performance of the Diluceo is amazing.  I've got a pair exactly like these and yes, the finish is stunning.

Now that you're the happy father of two :thumb: I just thought you should know Rocket Ronny would have gladly given you his pair of kids for your pair of speakers.
