Help save a Bryston system...
« on: 30 Oct 2007, 06:53 pm »
Believe it or not, my elderly father is wanting me to replace the Bryston theater system I installed for him years ago because...
he can't find remote codes to control the volume of his SP1 via the universal (non-learning) remote that came with his DirecTV HD DVR!
As silly as this seems, it's a big deal to him. - I've offered to buy him a nice universal remote, but he's not interested. He loves the DirecTV remote.
Anyone have suggestions on codes to try?

remotecentral.com may be a good resource.  I would also think that Bryston would have them as they had a Pronto file for the SP1.7.  You also may want to look at woot.com fast.  Today's deal of the day is 2 large button universal remotes for $9.99 +$5.00 shipping.

All the codes in the form of a Pronto ccf file are on the Bryston web site.

Is that what you're looking for?
