which budget phono pre-amp?
« on: 29 Oct 2007, 10:09 pm »
Hi, 1st time post.  I am just getting back into vinyl and am looking for advice in choosing a budget (< $200) phono pre-amp. I'm currently considering the NAD PP-2 and the Cambridge Audio Azur 640P.  Associated equipment: Rega P1 (with glass platter upgrade), stock Ortofon OM5e cartridge, NAD C372 integrated amp, and a pair of Magneplanar MMG's. Any thoughts and insights for a vinyl newbie would be appreciated. Thanks.
