Kevin's Cables
« on: 29 Oct 2007, 01:11 am »
It's time to re-wire the system.  Regarding only interconnects (pre-assembled), Kevin lists two in particular:   the Cardas G-Master Reference and the Exodus StarQuad L-4ES6.  I am not sure which way to go.  The Cardas costs a little bit more, so does that mean it's a little bit better? :?  Kevin dose seem to indicate that the Cardas is his standard for in-house use.  However, being old and cheap (but not cheap enough to build my own) ideally I'd prefer to stay under $100/interconnect.  I listen primarily to classical, both orchestral and chamber, with a little mountain music and new-grass on the side.  I appreciate any opinons offered.

I'm not a big cable tweak.... despite my company name.     I like the Canare L-2T2S if your on a budget.    I have a kit if you want to build something.   Its not difficult and can actually be fun to build.   ;-)

I agree with Kevin
Kevin was kind enough to help us out at CES 2005 with a amp as well as cables and I will say that the cables we had to use were $2400.00 for the 10ft pair.
And with 4 people A-B the cables, all picked the Canare with out knowing what cables were what.No magic just swap listen for 6 songs, play the same songs same level.

So we used the cables from Kevin a extra set he had.

Well worth the money :thumb: :guitar:
