What color is the duct tape? I suspect that black duct tape would result in a 'darker' sound...

is this duck brand duct tape or 3M. I have heard good things about the duck brand but the 3m stuff seems to make the midrange a bit to chocolately. And a bit to skittley on the top end.

I have heard of a similar DIY recipe. Uses barbed wire and duct tape. The recipe is called Cattle-5.
