My friend a GMA speaker dealer is blowing out his inventory of GMA speakers at ridiculously low prices.
They are all new or extremely close to new with maybe 20 hours on some pairs.

Europa Max 1200 plus shipping and paypal (list 1900)

Callisto 1860 plus shipping and paypal (list 3000)

Pico Executive ( someone here steal these) 3100 plus shipping and paypal List ( 5000)

Pico Medeo 4050 plus shipping and paypal. (List 6500)

If you ever wanted to hear what these can do, here is the chance. The bigger guys might be your last speaker.

Thanks, top. Here's two cents from a fan. Somebody oughtta jump on those Callistos for that price. I can't imagine a better speaker for $1850.

I was thinking along the same lines, Jim.

The Callistos are exceptional speakers IMHO, and they're a steal at $1850.

Jim I agree , for the money a steal.
So much thought has went into the design of these speakers, and they are made of stone, extremely well made.
I have had few of these in my house and they are killer.

The GMA's are nice speakers...easy to listen to....I've owned a pair of the Europa's for a few years now.

Hey Mike - is your dealer there in NY?

I didn't realize the Green Mountain speakers worked with as few as 7 watts effectively until I looked at the website earlier

Hey guys in the know.

How would the Callisto, or Exec. sound compared to the SP offerings of comparable speakers?

My guess is that the SP line would be a bit more lively and also more detailed in the 1000 to 2000 hz range.

The Callisto is an excellent speaker IMHO, thought I'm not sure how it compares to the new Timepiece Mini that I've yet to hear.

I've not heard the Executive, but for the money ($3k), it should be at least a very good value.

Better than the Timepieces? Dunno, but based on my experience with each brand, I doubt it.

My big picture take - SP Technology is far and away my favorite speaker manufacturer, but if they weren't around, I'd probably own GMA speakers. They come as close to the SP Tech's performance as anything I've heard, especially at real-world prices.

It doesn't hurt that Roy Johnson is a nice, down-to-earth guy. When you have to hand your hard-earned $$$ over to someone, it's always more palatable when it's someone you like and respect.
