Clarinet C305
« on: 23 Oct 2007, 02:31 am »
I fired up a Clarinet this past weekend and started the burn in with a CD player. After the first night I did an inspection and found that C305 (10V 10000uF Electrolytic) swelled and sprung a leak. Come to find out I had installed it with the polarity wrong . The odd thing was that the Clarinet sounded great and was super quite.

Anyway it needs to be replaced. I am wondering if this mistake may have harmed someting else. I am not sure what C305 is for if someone could explain.

No harm done.  Just put in a new one.
