It has been a great weekend so far.  I've seen and heard things I've never heard before.  Great show!

Click here for part one of the pictures and here for part 2.

Enjoy!

Glad you guys are enjoying the pics.

The show was very overwhelming for a n00b like myself.  I've met a lot of really nice people from across the US as well as the world.  I've learned a lot as well. I would like to extend many thanks to each and every vendor who took the time to enlighten me about their equipment.  BPT, GIK, Turbo and his newly built loudspeakers and Odyssey Audio for  get two thumbs up  :thumb: :thumb:  3 days isn't nearly enough time to sit back and listen to every setup at the show. I really regret leaving tomorrow.  Very cool stuff indeed.

Docutech - looks like an OB Scanspeak - any comments on who makes the design?  Thanks.

It's not an open baffle ... there's a small chamber behind the midrange.  The brand was called Lucid I think.  They did look nice, but sounded quite dull in the open area where they were playing.

Yes, this was Lucid out of Utah.  $6k with a small enclosure behind the mid/tweet that also had matching in wall enclosures/drivers.  Really oriented to custom HT mostly, but very nicely made.

Shallow cabinet depth = lots of backwave reflecting back through the cone.  Might look nice but doesn't seem like a good design choice.
