That is a truly beautiful speaker!  I wish I were going to RMAF so that I could hear it!  I am interested to know what amp/preamp/source you are planning on using?

Well, I think we'll have quite a few electronics choices ... Chris of BPT will be bringing his Tact pre-amp and amp, I'll have my ICEpower 1000ASP amp there.  Chris will also be streaming some high-res music files through firewire and an Empirical Off-ramp, as well as modded SB3's hooked up to a battery power supply.  I have a Jungson JA-88D integrated that's a very nice sounding piece that I'll bring if Chris would like me too, it's a bit of a change of pace from ICE and Tact stuff.  I also have an impressive Xindac DAC-5 upsampling Tube DAC that I can bring.  And of course we'll have the best power in the building thanks to Chris' balanced conditioners

Great range of options! 

If my experience with a highly-modified TacT pre- counts for anything, the TacT gear probably won't be an ideal match.  Regardless, I will guarantee each and every change you make will be heard loud and clear via the Continuums!

I think I remember warning you about "filling your drawers" once you heard them.  Well, let's hope that didn't happen, but... at least now you know I wasn't "pulling your chain."

Well friends... with every new customer it's beginning to appear that we haven't been "pulling your chains" either.  Got a hot pair as pictured above that I don't feel like dragging back home.  But... we're not giving them away either, so be prepared to make a serious offer.  You might just want to snag them up though, as it may be a while before we make any more "deals."

The days of SP Tech giving away the farm to make a sale are about over.  I'm glad we've helped as many as we could along the way, but now it's our turn to prosper a little from all this sweat and worry.  Once you hear these puppies at the show, you'll understand my state of mind these days - more than words could ever tell.

We're bringing a Laptop driving a Hagtech HagUsb.  From that we're going to an Orpheus DAC, then out to a pair of NuForce Ref 9 V2s.  We'll also have a NuForce P8 preamp if we need it and also a little Belles Soloist preamp to try.  Ha... ... I'd get a real kick out of Dave Belles coming to the room and hearing his little Soloist driving the Continuum 2.5s.  I guess if the C2.5s sound good, that'll be the reason why.

You have really outdone yourself with these speakers.. really beautiful. Ones that even a wife could love. I bet you the sound just as sweet as the look. btw. How long do they need to break in properly, and will there be a goodly amount of time pre show to play them into their comfort zone.
