A heads uo on this one. I got it in the mail yesterday (Less than $8 shipped from www.yourmusic.com)

I ripped it to the harddrive in my PC Audio setup...and it sounds fantastic!!  I've not heard this one sound better. I'm guessing when they did the SACD layer, they remixed the red book layer as well.

If you see this one, jump on it. I was also surprised to see Hybrids available at Your Music.  $6.99 shipped plus tax is a killer deal!

Yep....they did a very good job with the remaster....and if you like "Madman...", pick up "Tumbleweed Connection" and "Elton John".....same excellent sound. IMO....those are the E.J. albums to own....

My favorite album of all time and you're right, they did an excellent re-master of the redbook layer. Wolfy mentioned TC and EJ, but don't forget that Honky Chateau, Capt. Fantastic & TBDC and GbYBR are also available on SACD and have also had excellent re-masters of the redbook layers done.

FWIW, if you are into multi-channel music, IMO the DVD-A of GBYBR is better than the SACD.
