Feedback from Milwaukee DIY speaker event.

Great thread on DIY speaker event recently held in Milwaukee. Looks like several people were very impressed with Dennis Murphy's MBOW1's, even more than some more expensive designs. The Hiq OW1 tweeter was very well received. Also, the MBOW1 uses GR Research's highly regarded and insanely inexpensive woofers. I hear Dennis is working on a three way design using the OW1 and the GR woofer as a mid. Please note, several comments were from some pretty good speaker designers.

PS- I'm planning to attend the November DIY event in Iowa on November 1-2.

Yep, that might've been interesting. Although it sounds like it was more a personal gathering than a public one.

Yep, I missed it too!!! That would have been pretty interesting. I guess AudioCircle hasn't hit the "big time" yet... Maybe they just wanted to keep the holigans out

Jeez, I missed it too,I could have unsoldered my crossover parts setting on my boxes and brought my dogs to the pony show.I have only heard the Hiqfon anecdotaly. That would have been very interesting to attend. Maybe they will have one next year.
