Hope you don't mind but I have some friends over at DirecTv forum who have been looking for a good HDMI switch to hook up the lone HDMI  terminal on the back of the new HD DVR so I copied your product specs and posted it for their benefit. I thought i'd say something in case you do have a problem with someone copy/pasting your product in an open forum. I can always delete the post and leave just the link.

I am interested in the NuForce AVP 17, but I am confused about offering this Oppo product. Will the 17 now have an HDMI input? I really hope it has one and then switcher will expand it, but I thought it was not going to have HDMI present. If it does I will buy one today.

The OPPO switcher is an "outboard" unit that you can purchase bundled with the AVP17.



With the speed at which video cables and signal transfer methods are changing , and the fact that video signal can affect audio signal to the negative, it is a good idea to have then separate.

Looks like I misunderstood what this unit was all about. I was expecting this unit to expand on a single HDMI outlet when it seems to be doing just the opposite. 3 HDMI inputs TO 1 HDMI output? That ain't expanding #*#%! So all this units good for is separating the audio from the video in a HDMI cable?
