Not that what I think means much. However, a friend of mine here in the Metroplex has an set identical to these.  Simply put they are glorious speakers.

Thanks I agree. They are one of the very best monitor speakers I have ever heard ..almost as good as my Green Mountain Callistos & much more attractive(high WAF). The finish is the finest I have seen along with the workmanship.

Could you let me have quick specs of speakers? Have you tried SETs with your Harbeths?

Best Regards

One of the sweetest midranges you'll ever hear.  A most musical hi-end speaker.  A bargain.

Hi Denjo,

I am not sure how to reply to a specific post as I just statred using this site after signing up some time ago.If you go to Harbeths site via google you will find a ton of specs & even some well written reviews on these speakers.I agree with the other poster that as far as musicality per se is concerned. The Monitor 30 (domestic) & their brethren are hard to beat ..period.They are considered a "good all around "& have a easy load to drive therein being suitable for SET amps. They are a tad on the inefficient side so small rooms only with SET amps I would think.I know there are many who use them this way for a double hit of musicality.

Thanks for your interest .

i'm also very curious about this speaker in relation to SETs. i know it's a rather poor efficiency on paper (something like 85-86db) however there are reports its very much impedance benign and similar in behaviour to ls3/5a therefore it may work well with the SETs. i would actually love to try it with my altmann BYOB for that matter, to see if 10w can hold it well or not.

How about posting a link to your auction as there are no listings under Audiopath49?
