Man, all this talk about the great weekend and nobody even mentioned why we were all infesting Danny's digs in the first place...unless the REAL reason ya'll came was to hear his LS's! Man am I bummed....lol.

Here I am busting my butt to get all your scribbles translated to English so we can publish them and everyone else is goofing off over here!
You're ALL taking a cut in pay!!!!

My dogs ran away from me when I got home - they NEVER do that. Must be that cat we ate at the Chinese restaurant.....

Did Marvin molest anyone on the way back? I was worried about you guys after he ate so many oysters -- or whatever they really were.

Art...speaker "H" misses you terribly. It cried and cried after you left. It obviously has masochistic self esteem issues...

There will be no explanation....John stop making private jokes public...

Oh crap, I'll explain it, not that bad it was just funny and a little embarrasing.  I work for the feds so we were outside telling non-PC jokes, making fun of the Government and just laughing away....loudly. Arts son had a friend come over, his Dad dropped him off. Wellll after he left Art's wife promptly came outside and notified us that his Father, whom had just dropped the child off had most likely heard us and he worked for the S.S.  No biggie, one of those "you had to be there things". It was a little emarrasing though... I/we didn't realize we were being that loud.

I had the same experience about 3 weeks ago when I made a post that approached a rant!  :D

http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=45004.msg406118#msg406118

The LS-6's were the finest speakers that I had ever heard, until I heard the 9's.  They are incredibly good. Anyone considering an upgrade of speakers needs to consider these very seriously.

I really hope the LS-9's make it to RMAF!

I might have to camp out in the room after what you guy's are all saying.  :D

It looks like the LS-9's will be a few doors down in the Red Rock Audio room number 2024. It is a double sized room. They will be on the Renaissance Amplifiers.

http://redrockaudio.com/default.htm

Then we'll have the LS-6's in our room being played on the Dodd gear.  :green: Room 2016.

Cool! I was hoping both would be there. Oh, could we swap out the 6's and 9's, back and forth between rooms.  :o
 :green:

I'm assuming then that Mark (AV123) won't have either in his room, correct?

James - only my inability to properly articulate my feelings about speaker "H" prevented me from posting about the real reason to be at Danny's...dealing with this sort of separation anxiety is new for me and I find myself wandering aimlessly, nay pointlessly, through the days since I encountered speaker "H" unable to find or nurture any will to live or the power to muster any optimistic view at all about life.......I knew if I started posting and was not able to espouse my true feelings of love for said speaker...this vaccuum of emotion I feel may indeed swallow me up whole....

oh yeah, and I wasn't sure if we were supposed to mention it or not.... :thumb:

Hank,
Is that you Hank?? I had no idea you were on here, I often wonder about you guys! I am having an audio meet at my house Oct 13th, would you like to attend? I sure would like it if you could. I think I've got Scott O. coming too. I still have my theater but have also set up a dedicated listening room down stairs as well. PM me if you need contact info.

It's Hank of Austin - speaker builder and raconteur.
