Sorry, we got tied up with the Radiohead release, RMAF show report and a few
mfrs changing prices because of the dollar fluctuations, so this issue is a couple
of days late. 

On top of it, the dog ate my homework!  We'll not really, but my dog did escape
while we were shipping boxes last week and it took us two days to get him
back, so we had a serious decline in productivity!!  Arrgh...

Should be up tomorrow night if all goes well.

However, the big news is that Ben Fong-Torres, the former senior editor
from Rolling Stone is now our music editor.  Initially, Ben was just going
to join as a contributor, but he has decided to really jump into TONE with
both feet.

This may not be a big deal to the gearheads in the crowd, but to the
music people, I think it's pretty huge.  Ben is a very cool guy, and was
a driving force behind Rolling Stone for many years.

He's got some great ideas for us as we go forward, and also
has access to a much bigger share of the music world than we
did before he popped in...

His first article will be in the new issue, so we hope you enjoy!

Yep, we all liked it, (and ordered the full box) that's why we held the
issue for a few days to get the review in this issue, rather than waiting
till Dec.  Looking forward to hearing the LP's!

We will be expanding the music section of our website quite a bit
next year to cover a lot more current releases as they come out
as well as adding a lot more live music reviews too.

Always more to do!! 

And we have another music writer showing up in Dec that I think
you guys will all get a kick out of too!!

Yes, they are. And the really cool part? Jeff didn't recruit Ben. Ben came to Jeff. That's how much he liked what he saw in TONE. And while much credit is due to those contributors who have helped make TONE what it is as well as those such as Ben who will help make it even better, Jeff deserves a really big pat on the back not only for having the vision for a publication like TONE, but also for having the courage and the commitment to make it a reality.

Thanks for the compliments, always appreciated!  And
I couldn't agree more about my staff.  It was one thing
to have a vision, but to find such a great group of guys
and girls that are as excited about this as I am is what
makes it great!

I'm just happy everyone keeps reading...

We certainly are having a great time putting it together.

We also have a cool supplement to TONE that will be coming
out in Spring and Fall that will be over the top!  So in 2008,
there will be the normal six issues and two smaller bonus
issues...
