Short Story - Universal Music Group, the world's largest record company said it will cut list prices on CDs by as much as 30%.

Now all we have to do is get everyone else to follow suit....and get them to stop releasing music that sucks.

After 20 years they finally figured out how to make the CD cheaper?
About friggin time!!!
I think others will follow suit cause I will be buying artists I like from UMG.
I haven't bought a cd in a "mall store" in a very long time.  $18 list price     F'em :!:

Plus this will put UMG cds at Bestbuy down to below $10.  I can think of some U2 CDs that I'll be picking up and I am sure there are some other ones on the worlds largest label that I would want to have.
