Sent my Tempest in recently to have the on/off switch tightened. After the unit was returned to me, I got a phone call from Mike in the service dept. He asked about the preamp, and told me about some of the work he did on it.
Not only did he replace the switch, he repaired a cold solder joint he found on the ckt board where the volume control connects. So he fixed that too. And he added one or two grounds, as he had noticed a slight bit of hum.
I'm really impressed with the service Odyssey provided me. I can't think of any similar experience I've had with any other manufacturer in my life.
