I did the "Longhorne mod" to this cartridge and it sounds pretty decent, better than the budget Grados IMHO. It's in good condition but just understand, the mod is irreversible and the cosmetics obviously aren't perfect anymore. This was all about great sound and bang for buck. The stylus is in fine shape and the cantilever is straight and true. This is a replaceable stylus, I've silicone'd it as the mod recommends, but it can still be removed with a bit of care.
The cart has about 300-350 hours on it, by my best estimate. I've replaced this in my system with a MC + step-up trafos, and I don't think there's any going back, so thought I may as well pass it on to the next person.
