Much better than the (previous model) Shunyata Hydra 8 I owned before this and the Sound Application XE-12 a friend lent me for a few weeks.
The finish is a polished stainless steel which is suceptible to light scratching. There are several fine scratches on this unit which are only viewable with full light and close up.
