I have a pair of Yamaha NS-044 speakers. These speakers are very similar to the Yamaha NS-10, which are still selling for over $ 500 on ebay. for fraction of that cost. These NS-044 measure the same cabinet size as the NS-10 measuring 8.5" wide x 7.5" deep x 15" high each. They have identical woofers as well. These speakers sound great and are in great cosmetic condition. Please email me if you would like to see some pictures of that speaker.
I used these speakers as my main speakrs for several years, than as the rear speakers of my surround sound system. But due to space limitation these speakers have been in the closet for the past 6 year.
They are still in very good condition, except some very fine scratches on the top of the speakers, which only can be seen if you look very close.
