SOLD!!!!!        For sale is a brand NEW mint condition DCCA Powerwave III 2007 that is 5 1/2' in length.    Asking price is $175 obo, including shipping and Paypal.  The Powerwave retails for $450 at a 5' length.  This cord was bought new and has never been used.  I obtained this cord directly from DCCA through an auction on Audiogon.   I bought it for my amp but cannot use it.   This is a difficult scenario to explain, but I'll do my best.  My amplifier is a bit different than your average amp in that the IEC receptor is on the top of the amp, not on the back like most amplifiers.   Since the IEC receptor on the amp is on the top, the receptor sits rather close to the transformer housing.  The DCCA cord fits into the IEC plug on the amp, but the outer casing is too snug against the transformer housing.   If my IEC receptor was on the backside  of the amp like most other amplifers, and not on top,  I would not have this problem and would not be selling the cord.  I have no need for the DCCA cord for my other components and the 5 1/2' length would be overkill and unnecessary for those components.  I'm not trying to make any money on the sale, but its silly to have a brand new power cord from a reputable manufacturer go ununsed.   For comments and reviews on DCCA products you can search the forums on Audiogon.  Just be aware that DCCA power cords are very stiff so you will  need room behind your component to use this cord and would not be a good match for small or lightweight components such as small power supplies (at least that is my observation).    If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Feel free to check my feedback on Audiogon under username:   hartwerger.   Thanks so much.

is this a 15 amp cord?

hartwerger

Yes, it is 15 amps.

The asking price is listed as "obo" so I am negotiable on the price.   Although I really don't want to lose too much from what I paid, it would still be better if this cable had a home where it will be used in good health.  So, if anyone has an interest, feel free to make an offer.  Thanks again.
