A letdown. Bad dialog and bad acting from the supporting cast (maybe they couldn't do much with the bad dialog). The fight scenes use the latest technique to cover up bad martial arts choreography: the flashbulb effect. The fight scenes use quick cuts, flapping fabrics, and flashing white lights to mask the action. There is, however, a fight scene at the end where Statham and Li duke it out, and it's well done because you can tell those guys know how to fight, but all of the fights with underlings and henchman are hard to follow even though you know they're professional stuntmen with martial arts skills.
This movie is not really a "Jason Statham movie" in my opinion; it's really a Jet Li movie with Statham in a subordinate role. That didn't affect my enjoyment of the film, I'm just setting your expectations.
I thought the plot actually had merit, including The Big Twist At The End, but it wasn't enough to give it a thumb's up.
