For Sale: My Nixon usb CHIBI DAC. This is a non-tube DAC. I bought it direct from Scott Nixon in October. Included is a lead acid battery supply that runs with a flip of a switch: switch down, off and recharging. The supply is in a small wooden "cigar" box. (For a time I was into battery powered audio). Also the original powersupply. This DAC is only for computer use and works with Windows XP (vista?), Linux, and Mac OSX (I've tried these three). I love Nixon DACs, having had 4 in my time, and in December last year, replaced this for sale Nixon DAC with his usbTUBE DAC (which I still use)--so this DAC has been a dust collector.
New the DAC is $250 and battery supply about $30 in parts. So am asking $175 shipped to USA or Canada.

I have used 2 of Scott's DACs on Vista and they worked flawlessly, just like in XP.  You get a USB Audio Device to choose for audio output.

I've never heard the Chibi but I like Scott's work.
