For Sale: a Music Reference EM7 (single ended triode) amp. This is the 5 watt per channel version selling for $975. I bought it from Music Reference in January. I truly love this amp and this amplifier maker. The EM7 is as new. Amazingly it is absolutely quiet on my 96db/watt/meter Hawthorne Silver Iris and Visaton B200 (which I'll be parting with shortly)--I mean absolutely. This amp back in January had replaced a Decware Select in my system. I need more than the 5 watts for my favorite speakers-I've replaced this 5 watt amp with a Music Reference push-pull RM10 at 30 watts. One curious thought of mine on this amp is that its amazing coherence is partly achieved because the input and output tube are the same tube, and thus run same temperature, temperature being a resonance. The amp as pictured on the link is solid walnut with black painted top and base--looks simple and well crafted. I will sell for $775. I have the original paperwork and will triple box when shipping.

Tom,

Real curious how this amp compared to your select.  I run the Zen in my system and throwing around the idea of getting the 245.1 amp. 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
