Given its rather obviously evocative shape and the fact that it is made from "crotch" mahogany, I'd say "The Freud".

OK, I guess the top won't win a popularity contest. But it does look better in person and it is an essential part of an obelisk (which was the original inspiration for the design). Next time I think I will veneer it. This time around, I was just glad I could figure out all the angles. I actually cut parts for the top five times before I got the angles right and the bevels fit together properly.

Well, If we look at it like two pyramidal things ... the Sphinx is the closest object... and the Sphinx is a lion.

Leo is the Latin name for lion... Only two obelisks on the planet (out of a total of 30...) share the same name:

C"Leo"patra's needle. One in England, and One in the US actually share that name...
So then two Leo named obelisks... that is our gate isn't it? The LION GATE . or jaws of thunder?
The lions gate bridge has two towers...

I thing these two speakers could be looked at like two lions fangs. There as twelve species of lions mind you...

I'd try that. I'd also do metal rods to replace the wood dowels that run front to back between the cabinet and the plinth. That would tie things together.
