DSOTM SACD and Wizard of Oz?

Wondering if anyone has tried the Wizard of Oz synchronization with the new DSOTM SACD? I remember renting the movie a couple of years ago and trying it with my regular CD and it was a pretty cool deal. Would be really trippy if it worked with the SACD!

Isn't the Wiz like three times longer than DSotM?

I take it that Rob hasn't done this... he just doesn't know what he is missing.  Excuse him will ya....

I havn't tried it with my SACD copy and I think it would be great.  I need to find a copy of Wizard of Oz to try it out with.  One thing I did do though was I downloaded something called "Dark Side of the Rainbow."  Someone was kind enough to rip Oz, rip DSOTM, and splice them together for one nice short movie.

I thought this would have been a more active topic. Maybe there are not as many people that know about this as I thought :?:
For those of you who have not tried it, grab a copy of Wizard of Oz and your trusty DSotM disk and cue them both up. You will be watching the DVD, but only listening to the CD. Hit play on the CD right after the MGM loin finishes his third and final roar. Watch and listen very closely and you will find some very interesting coinsidences  :o
This may be a spoiler for some, but check out this website if you want some more details:  http://www.rareexception.com/Garden/Floyd/Floyd.php

...

Audiocircle CANNOT condone bestiality!  You MUST delete all references to the LOIN of MGM  (though I'll admit I've lusted after the loins of MTM [Mary Tyler Moore] on more than one occasion).  But c'mon, that's a LION whose loins you're talking about (OK, it's a pretty cute lion, but still.... ).
Cut it out pervert!  (BTW, if you want some naughty lion pics, e-mail me--wink wink nudge nudge).

BTW, there's that reggae version called "Dub Side of the Moon" --check out NPR feature that mentions Wiz synch at very end

Okay, sounds fun, BUT...again, doesn't the album end like halfway thru the movie?  Do you hit 'repeat' or just listen to the movie the rest of the way?

I read that too with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp leading the way.  I have to say that I absolutly love the original.  I think it is possibly the best children's movie ever made.  There is plenty of stuff for adults in it and it can scare the kids a little which I think is a necessary thing in this ADD world.  Makes them go outside and get some fresh air.
