I have owned the Sapphire III's since 1998. Great speakers! Something went wrong on my B&K 202 receiver probably sending a surge of power into the Sapphires. Now the tweeters are sounding, but the woofers do not move. I openned the back and smelled that terrible transformer burning smell. The woofers still look fine on the outside. Is this the crossover circuitry burned out? How much does this cost to fix and is it worth it?
