Talon Khorus Upgrades?

Talon Khorus Upgrades?

I just acquired a beautiful set of the original Khorus speakers and wondered if anyone has upgraded them to be the Khorus-X? Is the crossover the only thing that makes them the "X" model? I am looking to improve the mid and upper end. The upgrade from Talon/Rives is not cheap.......$800 ea. and would like to know it makes a substantial difference. Also, what are some ideal amps to use with them? Thanks for any input 8).

Judging by the lack of responses.......I guess I picked up some un-popular speakers :duh:.

Jeff -- this may not be the best forum for Talon products.  Audiogon appears to have a lot more Talon users.
