It must be a dipole thing ... If it is just all in my head, well, that is where the music ends up anyway :).

Yes, dipoles are very different than normal "box" speakers in that regard. The great thing about acoustic treatment, versus so many audiophile "tweaks" I see, is that the improvements are very obvious and easily distinguished from placebo effect. :lol:
