Can Blu-ray support 2 channel digital soundtrack?

I have a 2ch DAC with optical and BNC inputs, which I currently use for standard DVD movies. Blu-ray apparently supports PCM. If I were to go HD with Blu-ray, would I be able to utilize my DAC to play digital 2 channel soundtracks?
