Folks I have an vintage Pioneer Spec 2 amp.  I saw one on ebay for over a grand.  Is there a place where I can find what this amp is worth.  By the way I paid $100.00 bucks for it and yes it's in pretty good shape. I'm thinking of getting it refurbished From 1 to 10.  An easy 8.

Thanks for the heads up on Audiogon.  I'll give it a shoot.  I was really surprised at how good it sounds.  When the 550 was in for upgrade to Ultra I had a blast listening to it.  I'm looking forward to having it benched tested and if need be refurbished as soon as I can id a place that I trust to do the work right.

If you want to go all out, track down 'Echowars' on Audiokarma.org...he is the man when it comes to that era of electronics, Pioneer in particular. Whether you want to keep it or sell it, he will get the best sound out of it that is possible!

I'll email echwars but thanks a bunch for the local guys.  Some one told me about these guys before but I lost the link after upgrading my OS.  I'll check both of these guys out and pick one to take the amp too.
