A mea culpa: I was the naysayer advising members to forget about the X. In my defense, the advice was based on the seven month pause in "production". Brian is the first to admit that cabinet production takes place outside his Plant, & that speaker production always follows cabinet arrival.
My faith in the design was strong enough to make the very first sale, accepting a deposit from Hong Kong Oct '02, when the X was a blueprint only. I admit bad feelings resulted when the customer's patience exhausted & we had to "settle" for RM40s (which he loves). It would have been great if the very first X pair could have become a new jewel of the east!
