Maybe it's my English but I think I don't really understand what "dynamic range control" does.

If it's set to 'LOW' what happens then, it sounds like the sound volume is better/louder and it sounds there is more base in the movie.
If the dynamic range control is in 'FULL' mode the sound is softer.

So I don't get the note that said: 'Caution should be exercised.....', in FULL mode?

So is there somebody out there that can give me more explanation of how the "dynamic range control" on the SP2 works?

Use Full if your system is wide-bandwidth.

Mid setting slightly reduces the extreme lows and increases the mids (voice).

Low reduces the bandwidth even more and boosts the midbass/midband. It is a Dolby requirement that is suppose to allow for late night listening (low) by reducing the dynamic range in favour of a more pronounced midbass and midrange. The reason it sounds louder at the low setting is because it works by increasing gain in the middle and upper bass frequencies.
