Just thought this may be possible since the Cornet MC uses the Piccolo in it's design.

Looks like the Cornet2 MC has been removed!

Just finished building the Piccolo, and it seems to play very nice with the Cornet2.

The plus is it can be used with any Phono Pre, the negative is the extra cables.

Need to put more time in listening to it, but so far it is awesome!

Yes, you can tap off the 6V heaters to fire up the PICCOLO.  The problem is routing the low impedance cabling past the power tranny.  That's why the PICCOLO doesn't go into a C2.  Unless you move input jacks to the front.  Then it is ok.
