I just had someone come in with a pair of his ASL Hurricanes (pre-2007 model with aluminum chassis as shown below). He was going to have me do some upgrades on them until he saw a pair of EXtreme Hurricanes sitting on my floor ready to go. He bought the EXtremes and left his stock pair with me as a trade.

I am offering these as a pair of Full EXtreme Hurricanes that are not yet built. They will be sold with the full 1 year modification warranty just as they would if you sent a pair in.

Price is $7,800 for the pair.

The modifications also include Bybee Purifiers in the B+ voltage (4 pieces total) and a pair of Bybee Purifiers in the input signal path (1 pair total) as well as 2" solid aluminum cones. Full details on the modifications can be found here:

They are in near perfect condition. Turnaround time would be about 60 days with a 50% down payment required to start with the balance due at time of shipping.

Yes folks, they are also available as EXtreme Platinum Hurricanes for $6,875 pr. As the name states, these would be built using the SoniCap Platinum Teflon capacitors. Details can be found through the link provided in the first post.

Want a full Mundorf version  Well, I haven't yet built a pair of Hurricanes with the Mundorf capacitors but if that's what you want, contact me and we can work something out.

By the way, this pair has the stand-by switch on the back panel.

My apologies. This is incorrect. I had two pair of Hurricanes come in that day for modification and the stand-by switch is found on the other pair. This pair does not have the stand-by switch.
