This is another superb piece that Frank can be mighty proud of. Franks work speaks for itself. I hate to see it go but I must. This DAC makes the performance come to life as if you were there with the musicans. A truly wonderful piece. I talked to Frank & he reminded me that since I am the original owner his warranty is transferrable. I received the DAC in early Dec 07. Barely 7 months old. In 9.5/10 condition. The DAC comes with original box, manual, & warranty info. If interested shoot me a PM.

I cannot believe  that this AVA Ultra DAC is still for sale.  I was waiting for one to come up used (good luck) for many months before I purchased a different dac.  I know the build time was 4-6 weeks last time I contacted Mr. Van Alstine.

It is a superb dac and I have heard it used with a stock SB3 as a transport and a modest cd player with stunning results.

Jim Salk used the stock SB3 with AVA Ultra dac at Audiokarma Fest '07 with his Salk Sound HT3 with very impressive results.

Someone is going to get a killer deal on a wonderfully musical dac.

Thanks Nick. I'm puzzled myself  I guess it's all in the timing. I'm sure it'll move, along with the OmegaStar 440EX amp & the CJ that I also am selling.
