Howdie, folks.

I've been studying the Omegas for awhile and got real interested when the hemp cones came along.

One thing I'm curious about is the audible difference on the top end between the 18K of the XRS and the 20K reached by the Super 3's. I've been under the impression that 20K would be the minimum needed to cover the range of human hearing.

As we live far out on the prairie and prolly at least 750 miles from any Omega dealer, I was hoping to get some insight on this question before making any decisions.

Many thanks for your post and the top end of both speakers is 18KHz. Sorry about the typo on the website. The drivers are the same in both models.

He top end is very well extended and the best I’ve heard in a single driver. Most people top out under 20KHz.
