Lower co-efficient of drag is nearly
never a bad thing when mechanical parts are in intimate contact with one another. Tufoil has lower co-efficient of drag than any known synthetic or fossil-fuel based oil, silicone or blend, Marvel Mystery, Sewing Machine, Mineral, pure Teflon or Molybdenum oil or grease.
It's just the slipperiest stuff we mere mortals can get our hands on...and it's sanely priced.
My three cars now have much lower engine operating temps (easy to tell as every car has a gauge for this), a small, but notable improvement in mileage of 3-5% each, and more responsiveness to the accelerator (I assume that means more HP, but I've never measured it). What works on a metal to metal surface from piston to cylinder wall at temps in the hundreds of degrees will surely work without issue in your relatively cool running TT bearing well

Reducing friction even 5% in your bearing well will translate to more lovely inky blackness (isolation from mechanical chatter) that belt drivers already excel at from their initial design itself.
Try it, if for any reason you don't like it...fish it out of your bearing with a Q-tips and patience and put something else in there. The cheaper the bearing, the better the effect.
The effect was
astounding with my Thorens TD-316...and merely 'okay' with my VPI HW-19. I assume the difference is the quality if the bearings at the start more than anything else. It's a helluva' upgrade for most of you belt drivers out there
