Hugh,

I think your email is having some problems.  It appears you are able to send, but there are some receiving problems on your end.  I am posting this here because other folks may be having problems too.

I responded to your email thus:

Hugh,

I am not in a hurry for anything.

Financially I think you still have $500 - $700 in the "bank". It seems like the event was $1900, and your hotel room was about $500, but there are always taxes and such.

I did want to mention that I will surely install sonicap platinums in any coupling circuits in your/my amplifier. Presumably the coupling caps may have a slightly larger value, so the platinums will only be a bypass. Yes, I know these caps are expensive, but they are oh so good.

Subject: Touching Base.....

Hi David,

I hope you and your family are well, and that you remain as enthusiastic about RMAF as I do!!

I've bought my ticket, am awaiting a couple of custom trafos for the amp which is nearly ready, and hope that the
money is adequate at this stage.

Do let me know if there are any hitches.

I still haven't finished your speaker. I'm a bit slack, and apologise.
Cheers,

Hugh

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the post, much appreciated.  You wrote:

Ain't that an understatement!!  I had a lot of problems when I first hooked up with this new ISP.  They could not help, the problem was modem related, eventually RonR from London fixed it by remote control!!  Thank you profusely Ron, it's no fun being a software retard.....

David, I will resume normal email coms!

Cheers,

Hugh

Hi Dave,

I don't know why this is happening;  your address for my inbox is correct.  However, I don't believe other people are experiencing this, are you sending it from work or from home?  If the former, try the latter;  your work server might be mistaken for a spam generator (???) who knows......

If this doesn't work, we can always use PM on this forum, it seems to work fine!!

Thanks for the reply, appreciated,

Cheers,

Hugh
