I sold a few small items on EBay recently. To pay my seller fees, eBay offers the options of:

• Automatic payment via Paypal
• One-time payment via direct debit
• One-time payment via credit card

This is so weird, how come I can't just do a one-time Paypal payment, just like I do to pay the seller when I buy something?

I get a monthly statement after selling items and can pay via Paypal or cc on file - my choice.
