Anybody who has read the posts in this group knows it is considered an
extraordinary tuner and a huge value compared to some of the other
great tuners.
Mine needs an alignment, because AM response is poor, and because its
locking function needs some adjustment.
But once you are on a station, whether through manual or lock, the
sound is sensational, better than my other high end tuners.
Because it needs an alignment I will sell it for $50 or best offer,
plus shipping from Los Angeles.
If you're not already familiar with the T-35, it has adjustable output
level; three levels of muting; wide/narrow IF band selection;
pushbutton for manual lock (presumably to override the quartz
circuitry); 5-band signal-strength LED indicator; a "traveling"
frequency display in which an LED frequency readout travels across the
dial with the needle"; and screw threads for optional rack mounting,
though no ears(they weren't standard.)
FMTunerInfo.com has a "Shootouts" section on the Sanyo Plus T35, and
its current ranking places it next to the McIntosh MR80. It was ranked
HIGHER than ALL the Pioneers, Onkyos, Nikko Gammas,Yamahas, Tandbergs,
Linns, Carvers, Fanfare, Naims, Naks, Macs (exceptthe MR80) and Magnum
Dynalabs (except the $5,800 MD108).
