Just saw Metallica (London), Blues Nation (Washington DC), and KT Tunstall (Giants Stadium) play.

Yeah, I caught a bit of it last night. I heard this acapella thing by this Japanese girl, Ayaka, that was really good. She did it at the end of her set. I only caught that part, but she was really good.

Did anyone see the VH1 hall of fame award thingy a couple of weeks back? They inducted Genesis, ZZ Top, Ozzy Osbourne, and Heart. They had other artists come up and cover their tunes, as well as the artists themselves get up and do tunes. ZZ Top was good, Genesis was bad, Phil Collins couldn't hold a tune. Ozzy was Ozzy. Heart was very good as well.

But the star of the show was Alice in Chains with that country singer Gretchen Wilson. Man, they SMOKED!!
They did Barracuda, and that chick NAILED it! It was awesome.

I have been checking in to the acts during commercials during the Wimbledon matches...and now the the tennis is done I am right with it...great way to experience a wide musical adventure. Only complaint is that the name of the band is only posted for a few seconds...miss it and if you don't know the band you are left wondering.
Sounds great in 5.1 DD! Looks great too...

Just saw Madonna toting and playing a guitar...I never knew she did such a thing. At first I thought it was just a prop, but she did seem to be strumming a simple line and ended with a Jimi Hendrix stunt.
I must confess that I have never seen a complete performance of her concerts, just fragments here and there. So is she a real guitarist?
